Run.
Serve.
Thrive.
Hammer On Run Club is a small, purpose-driven DC-area community built around running, resilience, service, and shared challenge.
Running is the vehicle. Human potential is the mission.
The Descent
Every Saturday at 7:00 AM. Start at Blue Bottle Coffee in Georgetown, run the Capital Crescent Trail toward Bethesda, turn at your distance, and return to Georgetown.
THE 7-MILE OPTION TURNS AT FLETCHER'S COVE — AID STATION AND REGROUP POINT. CAP 30 RUNNERS — ROUGHLY 10 PER DISTANCE GROUP FOR SAFETY AND COORDINATION.

Just good people
putting in the work
It can be hard to find people who want to be part of something greater than themselves — to build community without turning it into a performance or a social media post opportunity.
Hammer On brings those people together.
We run. We train. We serve. We step into new ground. We help the person next to us succeed.
The work is simple: build the body, steady the mind, strengthen character, and make that strength useful.

Break the loop and step into new ground together. Each month, we take on a new experience, skill, or challenge — shaped by the club.
See Field Work →Service
Service doesn't require a uniform. We put in service miles each month — showing up for our neighbors, our communities, and the places we call home.
Rack up some Service Miles →Run. Build endurance. Find meaning.
Join the mailing list for the Hammer On monthly newsletter: upcoming runs, service opportunities, and Field Work, once a month. Stay connected to the people putting in the work.
