Partnerships
Support the work.
Hammer On brings people together to run, serve, and step beyond routine. Local partners help make those miles safer, more useful, and more accessible — without changing what the club is here to do.
More than exposure
The strongest partnerships create something useful: water on a long route, tools at a service site, instruction in the field, access for someone who could not otherwise participate, or the operating support that keeps the work consistent.
- Useful before visible
- Local before broad
- Aligned before transactional
- Measurable without becoming performative
- Respectful of members, partners, public spaces, and host communities
Ways to support
Back a route
Hydration, fuel, safety supplies, meeting-point hospitality, printing, or approved operational costs.
Equip the work
Tools, materials, protective equipment, meals, transportation support, or direct funding for a project.
Support the field
Instruction, venue access, equipment, participant scholarships, transportation, or expertise.
Underwrite a season
Insurance, permits, communications, route materials, safety equipment, and recurring program operations.
Contribute in kind
Goods, services, space, expertise, or logistics that meet a defined program need.
Each pathway preselects its type in the inquiry form. No fixed packages or benefit tiers publish until leadership approves them.

What does not change
Partnership does not provide access to member information, control over club programming, exemptions from event requirements, or the right to conduct an on-site activation. Hammer On retains responsibility for its standards, participant experience, and community commitments.
- No sale or transfer of participant lists
- No partner access to private RSVPs, concern reports, submissions, or email-consent records
- No implied endorsement by public agencies, land managers, venues, or nonprofit hosts
- No use of the Hammer On name or mark beyond the written agreement
- No use of a partner name or logo before written approval
- Compliance with the Code of Conduct and partner standards
- Permit and venue approval for any physical activation
The place sets the rules
Many activities happen on public trails, parks, businesses, nonprofit sites, and third-party venues. A website partnership does not authorize banners, product sampling, commercial solicitation, sales, staging, signage, amplified sound, or exclusive use at an event location.
Any physical activation is separately approved under the applicable land-manager, venue, host, permit, and insurance requirements.
For the Mount Vernon Trail and other National Park Service locations we promise no on-site partner activity — organized or commercial activity may require advance permission, and business solicitation on park land may be restricted.

Tell us what you want to support and what you can bring to the work. We review every inquiry for fit, usefulness, timing, and event requirements.
What we do not ask for
- Payment information
- Tax identifiers
- Contracts or signed documents
- Sensitive documents
- Logo files
Those come later, through the agreement — not the first email.
The right support should make the work stronger — and leave the purpose intact.
